upgrading to windows 10 without format

ok i want to upgrade to win. 10. i have a hard disk that is divided to portions: 100 gigs for the OS and 400 for other items. do i have to format every hard drives? i got other hard drives too (not portions)

I suggest WAITING aweek as I'm having upgrade failures. I'm currently downloading the ISO of W10 RTM and will attempt to start the upgrade that way as the Microsoft Update method just keeps failing.

*You may have a problem with C-drive capacity. Windows downloads over 5GB for the W10 upgrade, then makes a BACKUP of W7/W8 in case it needs to rollback. How much space you need VARIES as it depends how much is used and how much is non-compressable.
