Question Upgrading to Windows 11 from WIndows 10 ?

I'm currently running Windows 10 Home Edition and have a digital licence linked to my Microsoft Account. In the next few weeks I will be building a brand new machine and would like to install Windows 11 on it.

So my question is, can I directly install Windows 11 Home Edition on the new PC and activate it using my existing digital licence. Or do I need to first install WIndows 10 Home Edition, activate it and then upgrade it to Windows 11 using the WIndows Update feature in Update & security settings?

I would say a base install of Win 11 on the new system, "Probably will work".

Try it. If it does NOT, then fall back to the other option.

Remember, though....your old system will no longer have a Win 10 license.
