I get an error message (BMP Files Missing) and can't do the upgrade.
Any ideas? I talked to the Master (Tim) via email. No resolution (yet).

Were the bitmaps there before you "upgraded"? If so, how did they become
missing. Its a simple process of substituting the .exe file of v.007 with
the new on of .225. Nothing else is changed... so your bmps should not have
moved.

Actually, one can even install many versions in parallel, and it works
like a charm. I have "winplan.exe", "wp352007.exe" and "wp352025.exe"
all in the same directory and could play with each of them.

Of course, if you're using a shortcut or something like that to launch
Winplan, make sure that Windows doesn't play tricks on you. The working
directory must be set correctly. Sometimes Windows automatically
modifies shortcuts if it thinks you moved a program. I generally start
Winplan by clicking the .exe from the Explorer.

Actually, smashmouth is sub.ing in the new EXE for the old into the same
directory. With the new EXE (.052), he gets the error. With the old EXE
(.007), no error. His BMP directory, based on this, and on having looked at it,
seems to be as it should be. I care because not only did he ask me first (I
sent him here), but now by nephew, to whom I gave a brand new copy of VGAP for
Christmas, gets the exact same error. Alas my nephew doesn't have an old
version to revert to. Additional data:
Both the original poster and my nephew are on Win XP boxes.
Both have very new copies of Winplan.

Follow up question, will my nephew's new key/registration files/codes work with
an old executable? I can try a .007 copy of the .exe to see if that works
(since it works for smashmouth).

Thank you,
KT
