Upgrading: Will this new RAM work with my current motherboard?

I want to upgrade from 8gb of RAM to 16gb. This is the motherboard i'm using: Asus P8z77-V LK Motherboard (ATX LG1155)

and the RAM: G-Skill 8gb (2x4) DDR3-1600

Will it work out? Will I have to make any changes in order for this new RAM to function? Alternatively, if anyone can suggest better RAM for a similar price please do point me in the right direction. Thank for any help you can give me

Adding new modules is hit and miss , even identical modules purchased at separate times can be incompatible.

I'm not adding new ram i'm just replacing my current one, what risk is involved? How can I check if the RAM I want to buy is going to work with my PC?

Do you have a k processor , if so you should have no issue running those modules.​

Those should be fine, if any problems, make sure you have the latest BIOS and if need be may have to raise the DRAM voltage + 0.06 or so
