upgrading windows 7 (pirated) to full copy of windows 8. not the upgrade.

I was just wondering i have to do a fresh install or if i can just do something withibin windows 7 withoutnhaving to mess with the bios.

Boot from a valid, legal Windows install disk. Full wipe and reinstall.

With a pirated install, you have no idea what is actually in there.

During the valid, legal Win8 install (booting from a Windows 8 install DVD), you are given the opportunity to wipe all partitions on that drive, and let Windows create what it needs to.
