Alright, I have a really stupid question probably, but I haven't been able to find it online, or I am just not looking in the right places. I have 2 hard drives, one with Windows, and one without. The Hard drive (C:) got corrupted cause I was being stupid and was trying to go back to a previous build (away from the creator suite update) and messed it up. Now I can't boot into Windows, safe mode doesn't work, can't even factory reset it. So I downloaded windows 8 onto my OTHER Hard drive. Question is can I update Windows 10 that is on the first Drive from me being on Windows 8 using the second drive?

This is when you boot from a Win 10 DVD or USB you create, and then do the install.
Create your own install media here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Except I can't. When I try to choose Reset all drivers and fully clean, It will get to about 30%, then say like an error and it is unable to reset. After that it just tells me to go back to troubleshooting.
