1920 by 1080 and I play new titles.

A. is my GPU worth upgrading if I'm just seeking performance?
B. What would be the maximum upgrade for my GPU that won't cause my CPU or power supply any problems.

2GB is very low these days, especially for gaming. You might want to look into a GTX 1060 or 1070. They can run 1080p all day.

As far as 860w is PLENTY still. You can even run a 1080Ti on it in SLI and still have headroom, you're fine. Good luck!
