Question Upgrading

I have a Asus GL12CP mini itx motherboard with an I7 8700k,GTX 1050 Graphics card with a 300 watt power supply,I need to know if a upgrade to a EVGA 450 BT 80+ and a Gigibyte 1060 G1 3 Gb card. Will my motherboard work with the Power supply,I'm Sure the card will work . The supply has a 8 pin connector.Please help

Thanks for helping me out with this.only problem is it might not fit in the can where the old one is, do you think I could purchase the 500 Watt that was optional and use it?
 
As long as it uses a standard ATX PC case, an ATX PSU should likely fit. You could always measure the dimensions of your power supply to make sure.

Worth asking though, what kind of price are you seeing for the 1060 3GB? 1060s are no longer being manufactured, and at least at online stores in the US, the prices for most new 1060 3GB cards are not the most competitive right now. The newer 1660 6GB cards (with a 16), which start at just a little over US $200, can perform more than 30% faster in many games, while drawing a similar amount of power, and might be worth considering.
