Question upgrading

hi, I am looking forward to upgrading my graphics card from 1030 to some AMD RX 550.SO the question is could my motherboard do that,(handle the upgrade)?
I have Hewlett-Packard 1495 motherboard.

The motherboard is OK. The problem with HP commercial units is the power supply. The 550 doesn't look like it requires a supplemental power connector. You are probably OK, but without more info it is not possible to say for sure. The recommended power supply for the RV550 is 400W and the 1030 is 300W.

If 1030 is working so will Rx 550, both use about same power and that is less than 75W because they draw power from PCI slot that is limited to so much Watts.
Providing you are using Windows, before replacing card use DDU https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html to clean out Nvidia driver in safe mode, with option not to restart PC.
In meantime acquire Proper AMD graphic drivers from https://www.amd.com/en/support
and install them after the first boot.
