UPS batteriea Should Be Turned Off After Using?

I got an APC UPS with lcd 1500 va and 900 watts. I was wondering if i can turn it off after finishing with the PC or i should let it be on always?Any other suggestions, modes?

Just leave it on, they are made to run 24/7. The battery does discharge after you turn it off as well, as your computer will still pull in a tiny amount (keeps the USB ports powered up for charging). Recently I had a power outage and even with my computer and monitor off and only a cordless phone plugged in, the battery discharged in about 4 hours.
