UPS charging query

I have an Intex Omega 725 which uses 12V/7ah battery. Should I charge it everyday for 5-6 hours? or is it getting charged automatically while my PC is running? Does overcharging have any consequences. I just want my UPS to stay healthy for maximum time

It will automatically stop charging once the battery is full, and charges any time there is mains power. Do NOT unplug it while the PC is connected - this adds extra charge/discharge cycles, plus leaves the PC ungrounded.

Thanks 4 d answer bro..one more query.It makes a ticking sound several times while the pc is running.Is it due to overload? or something else
