UPS dead showing red light and making continuos horn type noise

Guys need help

My UPS is showing red light instead of orange when i plug it in( i haven't switched on my UPS yet)
I haven't been using my pc on UPS power rather i am using it on direct supply
But for last few days my UPS seems to loose its charging without even plugged in or running
Right now its continuously showing red light and making a horn type noise
Whats should I do??
I have an intex UPS probably a couple year old.

Do verify that the power outlet supplying the UPS is working correctly.

According to the following link, the red LED means "Battery low/battery mode short-circuit trip".

I was looking for the User Guide/Manual (Model No.?) but the preceding link provides a good summary of the Intex's featured alarms and status LEDs.

My thought is a failed/failing battery, or a fault in the recharging process.
