UPS doesn't turn off

Hello everybody! Could you help me, please?

I have an Ippon Comfo Pro 800VA UPS and when the battery power is turned off, all the sockets are still working. I even tried to turn the battery power off while a device was plugged in, and the device continued to work.

Is it okay and if not - what can be the reason? Thanks

Can you unplug the UPS from the wall outlet lets see if it will power off. If still power on because the backup battery is working can you discharge the fuse by opening it to take off the main power. Then go back here

Thanks for the help! I pressed the reset button on the back panel and now the UPS works nice I still wonder what it was, though...

Might be your UPS experience electrical charge failure and the system put on standby state, that's why you can't press the power down. Whenever it will happen again do the same you perform. I don't know that there are other switches at the back that's why I instruct to pull out the power cord or the fuse.
