I own a PC with the following specifications:
Intel I7 8700k @4.3 GHz
Asus ROG strix 1080Ti
32 GB RAM @3200MHz
Gigabyte Aorus Z13 Motherboard
Corsair 1000W PSU

I'm planning to buy a UPS to tackle the frequent power outages in my area that might damage my pc. I have no knowledge about UPS' and stuff, so an extensive explanation about its workings, the model in terms of Volts/Watts that I require according to my build, would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If your PSU is fully loaded, you're drawing 1000watts. Each UPS rater 1300VA would keep that load for about seven to ten minutes - just enough to save work and safely shutdown.

Most UPS vendors have sizing charts which will help.
