Upside down lcd

What i am asking is Can i mount an LCD TV upside down on a flip up door and then when i flip up the door the tv will be displaying the picture normally. will this hurt the picture quality ?....thanks

If you mean does storing a TV backwards damage it, the answer is no.
Unless you mount it incorrectly and it falls of course.

I'm not storing it BACKWARDS,I'm hanging it UPSIDE DOWN and when i flip up the door,hinged at the top, then the LCD TV will be displayed right side up.will this hurt the picture? i heard you can't do this with PLASMA tv's.

Whoops, that's what I meant.

You'll be fine with LCDs, unlike plasmas it doesn't use gasses or vacuums, though with modern plasmas you should even be able to orient it upside down with out a problem.
