I have just started transplanting my rig into my new Antec P180. The problem is the 4pin power conecter from my tagan 480 to the mobo wont reach. It does however reach if I install the tagan upside down.
Is it ok to run a psu upside down?

As long as the vents aren't blocked so there's airflow and everything still fits through the hole in back, I don't see why not. There's no physical reason for a PSU to be oriented a particular way.

Like Mike said, the only reason for a PSU to be oriented a particular way is cooling / placement of the fans.

Well you could cause the flux capacitor to lose current running it inverted. This wouldn't be a problem though if the PSU is equipped with chemically raised diodes to handle the situation.
