Can anyone suggest on how to remove it properly? And whats the dark greenish stuff between the green panel and the processor?Ty in advance

Solution
for hardened paste wet a few squares of Toilet tissue with alcohol and press around the edges, leave for a few minutes, let the alcohol penetrate. then try again with the swabs. a toothpick (wooden of course) should not hurt as the wood is softer than all the materials the CPU is made of.

again the paste will hurt nothing by being there, no change in performance or temps. I wouldn't worry about it.
alcohol and cotton swabs.
the dark green is an epoxy that seals the integrated heat spreader to the fiberglass substrate the CPU is attached to. it is normal.

the thermal paste around the edges is not an issue as far as cooling and a little residue there will impact nothing

hey guys, thanks for the quick reply.I tried the cotton swab thing but its not really working out.I used methylated spirit as the alcohol not sure it was a great idea. But it did took of some of it.I heard using a toothpick can remove some thats stuck(its kinda hardened)and btw is it possible that expoxy as stated above can be pushed into the cpu?(look at the middle of the cpu sides, theres like an empty gap)

Oh ok thanks for the inf😵ne last question,do you think using the toothpick be an ok solution for taking out the thermal paste thats stuck at the sides? The thermal paste is kinda hardened and very difficult to come off using a swab and alcohol.
