[URGENT]Can this be used as a lint free cloth to clean my CPU?

Hi everyone
I am in the middle of cleaning my CPU and applying the new thermal paste and it turns out I don't have a microfiber cloth laying around , so can this be used as a substitute for lint free cloth to clean the CPU , I don't want to compromise the performance , its a synthetic cloth IMO ,but I can't say , I also have a lens cleaner I got from an optician , but its fairly old and used , any help is appreciated.
PS there are no coffee filters available in India , people here are fond of tea.

Thanks, what methods of thermal compound application do you recommend?

Pea size drop in the middle of the CPU and then put the CPU cooler on. Use Arctic - Silver 5 or MX4 thermal paste.
