(Urgent)Ethernet cable not detected

My pc does not detect the cable,
Yet yesterday I was using it just fine. I tested the cable in another laptop and it works. Please I need help, I couldn't finish my tasks with no internet on my pc

Ethernet controller might be broken or drivers corrupted.
If it's a laptop, then use wifi. Or you can get USB lan card.

Try running the built-in troubleshooters.

Per Skynet's comment: download new drivers via the adapter's manufacturer's website.

Reinstall and reconfigure for your network.
