I recently bought a gtx 960 4gb gigabyte and wanted to put it in my pc. When I put all the wires in and powered it on everything was on except the graphics card the fan was not spinning and my monitor showed no signal. Please help
Make sure the monitor is connected to the GPU directly. One reason why the fans aren't spinning is there are some cards that won't turn the fans on until they reach a certain temp. Sometimes a BIOS update is required depending on your current parts.
Wild card 999 the negative voting was an accident. It is all connected I tried with another you and it worked. Why would this one not. I bought it new. The PCI slot is working

It's fine. Try updating the BIOS on the motherboard and see if it helps. Also I'm not aware of that PSU, is it possible it isn't supplying enough power for the PSU even though it says 500W?
make sure the mb has the newest bios. under priamny drivers set it to peg/pci and turn on mulit monitor support. if there no video from the gpu then your power supply not output the power needed for the gpu. on the mb make sure the 8 pin eps cable is connected. on the gpu there going to be a 6 or 8 pin power plug.
The GPU does get warm but no signal the psu is 80 plus certified
If you can get another PSU just to test out, it will be nice...
Othertwice (in case its imposible to you to get another PSU to try out) i would take the GPU and the PSU to the store and ask them kindly to try a combination of those 2 in a test pc just to check out that the PSU is or not the problem here.
I kinda suspect much on the PSU right now... And this could be an ideal test to check out where the problem is...
