First time here. Don't know where to put this, so I'm just going for Windows 7.

My computer is lately having several problems. 2 days ago, I noticed a peculiar freeze where the screen suddenly goes all black and the sound hangs up and freezes. Just had it happen again (but with no black screen) today, and several time to clean up errors with no avail. Had it freeze just a hour or two ago and now the Windows 7 desktop won't show anything on the monitor when it boots up. (Two, actually.) Tried a lot of things to stop the frequent crashing and freezing and perhaps I'm stuck with no good way of playing games and doing work with Microsoft Office forever until I shell out $500+ dollars just to buy a new computer. (sigh) 🙁

Before anyone asks: yes, Windows 7 did create a dump file before the first crash and it seems it was a 0x000001E error causes by a .dll file. Might as well takes the risks of reseating my computer. :|

Edit: Just managed to remove a side cover. Too much dust. Looked up the error code and figured out I have to reseat everything as carefully as possible. :s

Hey, thanks for the answer, but I only have flash drives and audio CDs. But if it's a hard drive then that means something... o_o

Are you sure? Because I'm using a Windows 7 PC, and I'm not sure what flash it to your flash drive means...

Update: I've inserted a repair disk into my computer, nothing seems to be on, I have a monitor problem.
