I want to build a new rig for trading and charting purposes ( financial markets). The working hours can be upto 20 hrs a day so it is a prime consideration that the m/c doesn't fall apart in a few months. Also I need to power up 8 displays ( 19" - 22" ) so the choice of mobo, graphic cards, power supply, cooling and case have to matching to withstand all the above. In case of any crash, the backup should be there to get the rig running asap.I have come up with the following combo and think of getting it on Friday or Saturday max.
Specs are : i7 920 , MSI Eclipse or AsusP6T Deluxe , Corsair Dominator 1600 MHz DDR3 6 GB , Cooler Master Real Power Pro 1250watts , Cooler Master V8 cpu cooler , 2 nos. of Sapphire Radeon HD4850X2 - 1 GB , Cooler Master HAF 932 case , Seagate ( 7200.12) 500 GB HDD in RAID , Sony DVD writer 22x , 8 nos. Benq T 2200HD LCD, OS Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
It would be great if you could help with with the best mobo combination with the 2 graphic cards mentioned so that there is no problem. Also wated to know if the OS will be fine with the above.

it all looks perfect except in not 100% sure that the 2 graphic card would be enough.

Don't get the seagate drives, look at WD6401AALS. You are going way overboard on the PSU too, a quality 850w would probably be enough, maybe go with a 1000w unit like the Corsair 1000hx if you are unsure. Go with the P6T Deluxe V2 mobo. Dont crossfire your GPU's, keep them separate so you can support all your monitors. The OS will be fine with those components.

The reason for preferring the MSI Eclipse over ASUS is because of the support of 2-3 graphic cards and a better layout. Each graphic card has 4 DVI outputs so 2 cards should be able to drive 8 monitors.I will try to find a 1000w PSU.I went with 1250W because all i was getting here was 650W or below.I hope i am getting the graphic card combo right i.e. 2 cards driving 8 monitors independently !!!
