When i was trying to downgrade from windows 11 to windows 10 i got a weird Automatic repair screen and i can't boot into my system.
I don't have backups and i need to access y laptop ASAP

Error message: Automatic Reapir cloudn't repair your PC
I don't want to reset my pc because i have super important files.

FAQ:
What was the reason for downgrading from Windows 11 back to Windows 10: Win10 is so much easier to use
How i did the downgrade:In settings with the Go Back option
Will the computer boot into Safe Mode?: No

Specs:
Model: MSI GF75 rc8
CPU: Intel I7-8750H
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1050
Disk: HDD 1TB (around 25'/. full)

Sigh....
Backups are a central part of responsible computer operation.
Doubly so when you're making any major changes. Like the whole OS.

But, moving on...
I would absolutely do everything in my power to get a copy of this Excel file (and whatever else you really need) off that laptop first. Before you do any more "repair".

If a Windows based repair solution will not work, you would always download a linux distro, mount it on a usb and boot from that usb. At least you would be able to retrieve essential files from your hard drive.

do you have a win 10 or 11 installer?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

how to copy info on an old install
  • on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
  • choose troubleshoot
  • choose advanced
  • choose command prompt
  • type notepad and press enter
  • in notepad, select file>open
  • Use file explorer to copy any files you need to save to USB or another hdd

once you copied the excel file and other things you want to save, do a clean install of win 10
