URGENT!! Low fps in games

Hello everyone I have been having problems with my computer here's the stats.

G3258 Oc'ed to 4.2
Msi h81 p33
Hd 7770
Evga 500w
Kingston 4×2 ram

I have been playing games like rocket league and minecraft no problem 60 to 100 fps when I first got the card. Now it is in the low 20's and 10's I made sure drivers were updated but no change. I thought it was my card and bought a new one but it is doing the same. New card is gts 250. Please help!

ok, first GTS 250 is even worse than Radeon HD 7770, you will get a lowers fps.

Second: have you connected your monitor to the GPU?

Also, they have different drivers, use DDU to remove both drivers, install the driver from AMD only and keep using the Radeon 7770.

Does your HD 7770 have heat problems? Maybe it's that the pci-e cable isn't plugged?

You replaced the 7770 which is a 4 year old card with a GTS 250 which is a much slower 6 year old card, of course it won't help with speeds at all. G3D Mark 900 for GTS 250 2171 for 7770

Very likely either your CPU is having issues because of the overclock and/or too much heat, or your video card is failing or overheating. But you can't expect to replace a card with one less than half as fast and get good frame rates.

I want to let everyone know that the gts 250 was bought for another small build i put it in my system to see if it was doing same thing
