[SOLVED] (URGENT)My 24 pin connector only works halfway

Please help I just got this old gaming pc and turned it on and it worked for a while but me being a noob, forgot to put thermal paste on and it overheated and shutoff. Since then it wont turn on unless the 24 pin is in halfway then the gpu powers up and the case fans, and then if i move it more the lights on the mobo turn on for a split second then everything turns off

Specs:
Intel core I7 (older model I guess)
Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r mobo
12 gigs corsair xms3 ddr3 (2x6)
ATI Radeon HD 5770
700w thermaltake psu

fixed it it was a short in the front usb 🤦‍♂️
