Hey, everyone, the reason why I put the URGENT thing up there is that there is a closing sale on my local computer store and he is selling PC components that are ridiculously cheap. I'm upgrading my friends computer and he can't play without a GPU. Right now he is running a Q6600 on a locked motherboard, 8gb of DDR2 ram, 1TB HDD (if this matters), and a Thermaltake TR2 430w.
There's a sale right now for an open box Corsair TX650M PSU + plus an open box CLUB 3D R9 270x for $150.
And also he's selling an open box XFX R7 260x for $75 and an open box Asus R7 260x for $90.
My question is which deal should I get for my friend? The PSU+GPU combo or should I pick up either the R7 260x?
BTW, his CPU+MOBO+RAM are on the way, around 1 month or so. So he he'll be playing on a Q6600 for a little while.
