[SOLVED] [Urgent] No boot without USB drive?

Hello there,

i just built a new pc and ran into a weird problem.
The pc doesnt post at all without my usb drive with windows on it. Fans are spinning, lights are shining, the control LEDs cycle through. Fans cycle between full speed and standard rpm (aka its trying to boot over and over). Everything works fine with the USB drive in it. (Also for some reason the drive appears twice in the bios boot order).

Also had some troubles installing windows, but looks like it works for now.

I already tried updating my bios.

specs:
MB: Rog strix b450i
Cpu: amd ryzen 3600x
gpu: nvidia geforce rtx 2070 super
Ram: 1x8gb tridentz ddr4 3200mhz (doesnt work with 2 dimms so far but will work on that later)
storage: some cheap 1tb m.2 ssd

i actually managed to fix it. after 4 hours i figured out that there was a problem with the ssd slot (how do you delete threads?)

Glad to hear it works! However you are unable to delete the thread by yourself and requires a mod/admin to be contacted however I recommend just leaving it. At least you marked it as 'solved' as people will know.
