I just started playing URU. When I get to the room with Yeesha's first
message: I press the blue button -- Yeesha appears briefly and says some
garbled words then disappears. I never get her entire message and when she
does speak I have no idea what she's saying. I had URU installed once before
on this computer. When I got to the point of Yeesha's first message then --
it worked just fine. I'd appreciate any help to fix this. Thanks!

There is a URU 1.2 patch to download. That may help.

I've got the 1.2 patch already installed.

I suspect there is more to do before you can hear Yeesha's message.

Nope...actually been to this point before. Everything that I need to do is
done. Yeesha just dissolves as soon as she begins her message.

It's been a while but that happened to me too. Did you look at the
signs on the wall and then put them in the right order on the machine
before pushing the button? If you don't do that first she will speak
jibberish and then dissolve. The wall is in the same room and covered
just a bit by a big board, but the board moves out of the way if you
click it.

Thanks Kate! I THOUGHT that I'd done everything. I'd done everything
EXCEPT what you suggested!! All is well now ... and I'm blushing.
Thanks again!

You're welcome. I'm glad I could remember back that far. :)
