USB 2.0 will be fine for a bluetooth controller, the amount of information it sends and receives is fairly small, so even though USB 2.0 is less bandwidth, the latency, the important part isn't too far off the mark.
I have to tell you though. Getting a PS4 controller to play nice with Windows anything is a pain, If you think it's bad, it's ten times worse than that, so be prepared to install drivers from dubious sources, running programs to let the controller see windows, operate in windows, map the buttons, and everything else, Sony and Microsoft do *not* play nice together.
