USB 2.0 device access

Greetings friends
I have a USB 2.0 device that I can not access on my computer because it has a USB 3.0 port. How can I access the device?

USB3 should be backwards compatible with usb2 so it should work, the only caveat is that if your usb3 is thru a hub...some devices don't work well thru a hub.
