[SOLVED] USB 2.0 extension drawing too much power?

So recently I've come into needing a USB 2.0 extension for my mouse (Logitech G502 Hero) - I've been using this mouse for quite a while, and I've NEVER had any issues other than with Ghub, I plugged my mouse into the extension, and plugged it in, and Windows claims it is drawing too much power from the port? I've tested now on with a USB 2.0 & 3.0 on my motherboard directly, and the 3.0 on the front panel. Each time the same result, which requires me to unplug all my USB devices in order for Windows to shutup

I'm not sure if this is an issue with the extension, maybe it's a bad cable? Seeking any experience or help <3

EDIT* As it turns out I was just being dumb because it was late, I woke up the next day and realized immediately that the cable was to long, and on top of it all, wasn't active.. sTaPles bRanD 🤡

USB had a limit on length of cables, at about 10 feet is when they start to become flaky, especially when you add in the fact it's an extension cable added to the existing one.
