Hi Guys.
Recently built my first PC with an ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX Board.
Had some issues with the build initially but this was down to PSU problems.
Now I have the setup running and everything looks to be good.
What is causing me issues is the USB 2.0 ports, both the ports on the motherboard and the ports on the case connected to the board.
There are 2 USB 3.0 and they work just fine after I downloaded and installed the drivers from the web - (Eltron USB 3)
So I have my keyboard and mouse working just fine. But any device I connect to the 2.0 ports does not work.
Under device manager I either get an error 10 or error 43 (I think) and the little warning sign.
I have tried updating the drivers by checking online but this will just sit there for too long.
There are a number of items in device manager that have warning issues:
1. Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller (Two of these)
2. Unknown Device (This shows whenever I connect a device)
I'm just hoping that there is nothing wrong with the hardware and it is a config/driver issue.
I have looked at the driver toolkits online but these look shady to me and I don't want to be putting anything iffy on the PC.
I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit
6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
Board is ASRock 960GM/U3S3 FX
Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance!!
