Hi, is there a way to maximize the speeds from a USB 2.0 port? Can I do it so at least by increasing my CPU power from control panel? This two is related each other? I know the "Better Performance" policy from device manager>disk drives thing, but I do not want to use that. Thanks!

There is no "maximize"

It is what it is.
2.0, 3.0, 3.1, thunderbolt, whatever....

the average speed of USB 2 ports is 30 MB/s

if your machine doesn't load USB drivers fast enough it's because the chipset is old crap.

there are some USB 3 hubs with an independent chipset that support USB 2 ports
