Hello

Purchased a USB 2.5 Gig Adapter on my Birthday, and Cat 6A Ethernet wire, is USB 2.5 Ethernet adapter worthwhile using? i know i'll be short 1 more Rear USB Port if i do start using it more on my Clean Windows 11 Pro Clean install (clean installed a month ago) to freshen up system/remove junk

Didn't set it back up yet, til i was sure

Well Comcast Internet is 1000Gbps Download/20MBps Upload, Overprovision speed provided with Comcast to get up to around 1200GBps download side, and 23-24MBps upload.

Gigabit Extra with Comcast i used to have and with that i hit up to 1400GBps, and 42Mbps on upload side

Just left it off after the clean install for a few weeks as figured 940MBps isn't too bad i suppose, typically do gaming, streaming, music listening, Second Life Djing with Virtual DJ program

XB7 Gateway Modem has one 2.5 Gig Port included on it

Though i know i'd have only 1 machine able to take advantage of the bit faster speed on LAN side and Internet download side and upload side

That 2.5 g hardware is totally wasted.
Of absolutely no use.

Return it.
