usb 2 and usb 3 port not working

Hi The World I am running a Acer Laptop; I am using Windows 10. I have 1 usb 3 port that is working and 1 is not. I also have a usb 2 port that is also not working. I have gone into Device Manage and tried to update all the drivers; all to no avail. Then I went into find the driver for this laptop. When I have done all this; there was some resemblance of working only once or twice. After I have done all this it went back to having one usb port working and two not working. Does anyone have a remedy for this.

Yes; I do. However; i worked on that before and I managed to get my USB 3 Port working; but not every time. How would you do it?

So you are saying that every time you fix this problem in Device Manager, the yellow warning sign comes back?

I went into Device Manager and worked on the USB Serial at the bottom. What I did was go to each one and dissable it; then I enabled it. Then it started to work but not 100%. If I am not mistaken my Laptop is a little under the weather. In other words Sick.

There were no yellow warning signs. I just done some research and tried this. It is time consuming but in the end it worked. However; my USB Port is not working at all.

Take a look at the 2nd part of this link titled Disable USB selective suspend setting. See if changing the power settings on your machine might fix your problem.

bounce:: Good evening the world. All of my USB Ports are working erratically, with the exception of my USB 2 Port; it is dead. I have tried everything in Device Manager all to no avail. Doses anyone have and ideas how to fix it. "I HAVE A LAPTOP"; I KNOW THIS CAN CAUSE A PROBLEM WITH THIS ISSUE.
