Asus tech support knows nothing, they only suggested that i send the board in. I need it for my home business, so i dont have the time to do a full rma. UPDATE: a high end usb 3.1 stick works great (150mbs) on all ports. Maybe this has something to do with the problem? 3.1 sticks are working well but 3.0 ones (that work well on other mobos) dont?
This situation has me scratching my head.
All good quality USB thumb drives will show you a maximum MB/s Read Speed + maximum MB/s Write Speed. Just because a thumb drive is labeled as "USB 3.0" does not tell you how fast it will run, usually the price is a better indication. Cheap price = cheap quality.
Thanks, I agree with you, but that doesn't explain why the same 3.0 drives are reaching better speeds on my old mobo, while on the new one only 3.1 drives are working properly. *shrug* i guess ill just buy 3.1 drives
