Question USB 3.0 Expansion card freezes my devices.

So I bought a 3.0 USB PCI Expansion Card.

It says VIA VL805 on the driver -> used the QR on the card.

I'm trying to connect it to my monitor (HP Z24N), monitor USB hubs are 3.0, and I'm using a USB 3.0 Box cable.

. The card is recognized by the pc and works if I plug in my devices directly to it.
. The problem is that when I connect the USB 3.0 Box cable from my monitor to the expansion card, these things happen to the devices that are connected to the monitor hub.

1. Devices would lag, and sometimes freeze (especially the mouse)
2. Not work at all.

The USB 3.0 Box cable is not at fault here because when I connect it to a USB 2.0 (motherboard) port nothing wrong happens and every device connected to the monitor hub works.

Additional Info:

The card is connected to power.
Board is Asus P7P55 LX
Devices that I connect to the monitor hub:
- Mouse
- Wacom Tablet
- Headset


I have no idea what's wrong here.

I will say this that some USB-3 cards are temperamental to there system. Had one where If I plugged in my external Hard drive caddy to it it worked great but I would loose internet. Moved it to a different machine glitch gone in the next computer . Put a different model card into first computer glitch gone.

So you have hope just maybe a different card.
