USB 3.0 flash drive not at max speed, but something odd is happening.

I purchased the Samsung Duo flash drive to transfer movies and tv shows from my desktop and be able to watch them on my phone and laptop. I'm confused with the speeds. When I transfer shows from my 850 EVO SSD to my flash drive, it's at a low 20-40 MB/s, but when I transfer files back to the SSD, it goes straight up to the drive's advertised speed at 150 MB/s. Anyway I can have this done both ways? Thank you.

Most flash drives read much faster than they write so it might be normal. A quick look at an add and all I can see is "up to" 130MB/s advertised but it doesn't specify read or write so is almost certainly the best possible read speed.
