USB 3.0 - Front Side Port - ASUS M11AD - 12.8MB?! Wtf? Why is it so slow!

I have a Asus M11AD at work I frequently have to transfer files onto USB sticks to send to clients.

It checked to make sure it was a USB 3.0 port (the front port shows SS) and I use a USB 3.0 stick but I am getting barely 13Mbs... What the hell is going on?

At first I used one of the other 2 USB ports in the front and got barely 8Mbs... then when i used the ports labeled SS, i got barely 13Mbs.

Literally waited almost 2 - 3 hours to move 85GB.

Is it because I am using the front side instead of the rear?

Hello... USB is slow to write too, and fast to read... The chips used in the USB's are mass produced and performance varies.
