Question Usb 3.0 hub and extension cable compatible devices

I have to extend usb 3.0 to my pc 5m away and was thinking of getting a powered hub and an active usb 3.0 extension cable. Will this combo work with a mouse, keyboard, headphones and gamepad ? Mentioned usb 3.0 because of occasional usb drive usage.

I have not used those two specific models, but I have used several similar devices and they work as stated in the description.
Just pay attention to the additional 5V DC power connection on the 5-m USB cable.
It might require this additional 5V DC power connection if your USB devices have a very high power consumption.
I do not see that 5V DC power connector is included.

I've noticed that not all active cables have 5V inputs. I suppose getting a powered usb hub is adequate in that case ?
