I am building a Mini-ITX system right now. I've found a good motherboard. But it has only 1 USB 3.0 port. I want to add 2 USB 3.0 - Ethernet adapters on it (like this) but I need to use a USB 3.0 Hub for it. I wonder that if Hub does affects the quality of connection. Theoretically 5 Gbps is enough for 2 Gigabit LAN connections. But as I understand these USB 3.0 Hubs use a controller and that controllers are not as powerful as the ones motherboards have. Would that create a bottleneck while both Gigabit LAN ports used at their limits.

Edit: The Hub I am considering has a VIA VL812 chip on it.

I already know that. The bandwidth should be enough but like I said there is a controller chip inside USB Hubs. I am worried about the chip's condition while under 1 Gbps load from 2 ports.

Well, thank you for your answer anyway. I've searched a lot but found nothing. I am going with a different motherboard. Won't take any chances.
