[SOLVED] USB 3.0 only working every other time turning on computer.

My USB 3.0 ports don't always work. I have to turn the pc off and back on for them to work. Other non 3.0 USB ports work though. Any help would be great.

what are specs of the PC? USB drivers normally come with windows.

Just an idea: you might try to check the power use by the items plugged into your USB 3 ports. EACH port is limited to 0.9 A power (at 5 VDC) supplied to its device(s), so overloading one MIGHT make them all shut down.

this seems to have worked. I haven't had a problem with it, but will update if anything has changed.
I bought the computer with windows 8 then upgraded to windows 10
