Okay so my computer case has a USB 3.0 header in the front, but my motherboard doesn't support USB 3.0. I don't really won't nor need USB 3.0 but I was wondering if I can just use the USB 3.0 cable and put it in the USB 2.0 port on the motherboard? Imma noob.

Solution
If in doubt TRY, but I guess not as the usb3 has both usb2 and connectors so 10 lines instead of 5, but if the connector fitts it will proberly work. Most computer parts that fit together, work together.
