Usb 8-pin to usb 20-pin

I have a card reader with usb 8-pin connector for mobo, and I have 20-pin usb 3.0 slot on mobo - can I connect it? Which pins to which pins?

i wouldnt use the 3.0 plug on your mobo. i dont think you can anyway

I think that I can connect pins from 2.0 to some pins in 3.0 slot. Am I wrong?
There is USB0+, USB0- in 2.0 and SBD0+, SBD0- in 3.0
