[SOLVED] USB All in 1 HDD Docking station

I have an USB All in 1 HDD Docking station. When I enter bios do not see the USB All in 1 HDD Docking station. I am trying to boot from a HDD in the Docking station which has a Operating system installed.

My older original PC died so I found an exact PC and swapped my original Hdd to that PC. That worked and I was able to boot to my Window 7 system. Brought the USB All in 1 HDD Docking station hoping I can also boot to with the HDD that came with that exact PC.

You can't plunk an installed Win 10 in a docking station and expect it to boot up. There are ways of building a USB bootable Win 10, but not like that.

There is no more "Master/Slave"

This is the drive and OS the system came with?
If so, it should boot no problem.

2 physical drives, with an OS on each one.

Connect both of them.
Interrupt the boot up process as the system starts, and choose which one to boot from.
Probably F12 gives you this function.

There does not need to be.

Just connect it to another SATA port on the motherboard. And of course the SATA power cable.

Well, that certainly makes things harder.

What are the specs of this system?
Which specific drives are these?

They are both WD 500 GB IDE. One has Windows 7 my boot drive and the other has Windows 10

OK then...should be NO problem.

Connect them both.
Power up, interrupt the boot process, and choose which to boot from.
