I have a (new) Blue Snowball iCE mic and SteelSeries 150 Sierra headphones. When plugged into my machine, they install like any USB device then proceed to have driver errors when I check them in the device manager. I'll run the troubleshooter, and come back with nothing. I'll check the playback devices screen, and nothing but default audio comes up. I cannot understand how they are failing to be recognized or work; and any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

When looking further into this, the headphones are listed as an input device when they're clearly an output device. Why is that?

I've gone through Jason's steps and still nothing. I've installed the driver, and still cannot see the mic in the playback devices. All I can see is my sound card. Because both devices aren't working, could there be a larger problem that would resolve both issues with the audio?

I've tried plugging it in on both sides of the case; and I'm not totally sure what you mean by red circle. Yeah, the headphones have a mic for themselves, but I haven't been able to see the mic registered on anything. Nothing is coming up or working for any audio devices that are USB.

I've done both: two at the same time and one by one. I don't think the order is what is causing the problem
