USB BUG CODE error recently.

Heya,

I have had my current hardware for several years now, but have only recently started seeing the USB BUG CODE blue screen.

It started a few weeks ago, after I bought a Logitech G502 mouse and installed all the drivers for it. Once it started, I disconnected the G502 -- but the blue screen error kept happening, anyway.

After having made sure that all my drivers were up-to-date, I decided to go ahead and format the machine, re-install Windows 8 and all my devices -- except for the G502. Current drivers, all of them. No good. I still get the error.

Here's the .zip with the MiniDump:

Any help would be highly appreciated! Thanks! -- S.

[Also: the blue screen only happens when I game -- but given that I only use this computer to game (90% of the time it's on, I'm gaming), that might be completely unrelated.]

Update the wingman drivers from the Logitech site. What's plugged in thats USB? Update the Corsair Gaming Keyboard drivers from the Corsair site.

It'll be one of these that are causing the crash

Update your Nvidia network drivers and sata drivers. Nvidia firewall aka Nforce network access manager isnt installed is it?

Are you using an external USB hdd or something?

So, like I said, I already updated all the drivers from the manufacturers.

The driver I'm using for the Corsair K90 is the exact same one that is released as current on their website.
The driver I'm using for the Logitech F310 controller is the exact same one that is released as current on their website.
The drivers I installed are the ones that Nvidia directed me to this past week, in re my 790i SLI motherboard.

I believe this includes the Network Access Manager and the SATA RAID, yes.

I am not using an external USB HDD.

I have a Logitech F310 (controller), Corsair K90 (keyboard), a wireless card, and a Dell monitor connected to my USB ports. I also have a Logitech Webcam that is plugged in, intermittently. ALL of these have the most up-to-date drivers. Unless the manufacturer's websites have given me outdated downloads. Which is probably not the case.

(When I had had the Logitech G502 plugged in, it too had the most recent driver installed.)

I'm not sure I see that the details in the minidump support your conclusion that _this_ is the actual direct cause for my current problem. I may not be as familiar with these kinds of crashes as you are -- mind pointing it out?

(1) Changed the USB option to "Disabled" -- no good. Still getting the error.
(2) Uninstalled the Nvidia Nforce Network Access Manager -- no good. Still getting the error.

Neither of these were the problem.

I have to say that this is getting rather frustrating because none of my tower's hardware has changed for a long while, and suddenly I'm getting this error on a bi-daily basis.

What happened?

Anyway, here's the most current dumpfile. PLEASE take a look at it:

The only thing that changed was I bought the Logitech G502. But even when I've unplugged that mouse, I get the error now. Even AFTER doing a clean format/reinstall all updated drivers.

I would appreciate all and any help.
Thanks. -- S.

Mind if I ask why you now think this is the problem? I'm asking simply because this is the first time you've brought it up.

Especially since I've had this webcam connected for a LONG time now, and it never gave me problems before.

Yup, that's what I did when I disconnected it.

That's not the issue.

I would have been surprised if it were, given that I've had that webcam with NO problems for over a year.

Like I _already_ said, the Logitech G502 has not been installed nor plugged into this COMPLETELY fresh format, Win8.1 install.

I really wish you wouldn't prompt me keep repeating myself, it's a waste of both of our times and just causes the thread to get unnecessarily long. This is the third time you've suggested something that is invalidated by something I've already answered above.

If you have some _real_ insight to my problem, I appreciate it but if you're just grasping at straws (or not reading the thread), I'd rather someone else help me. You're just cause unnecessary grief, frustration.

That's the problem -- I do want help and you simply cannot if you refuse to read the thread. I've been more than receptive to your "help" despite the obvious fact that you've been ignoring what I've typed.

Regardless, if someone else who has read the thread could give me some suggestions, I'd appreciate it.
