Question USB-C dock with Charging

I am looking for a Dock for my wife to make her usage of laptop easier. The dock should be able to support data, video and power delivery (Not sure if USB-C supports anything else).

The following ports are required.

1. USB-C (host PC).
2. PC to be charged via USB-C (Included power adapter for dock)
3. HDMI or DP
4. Ethernet
5. USB

I came across this, but this is on the pricey side.

Do I have any good reliable options that do not cost 150$?? I would have expected this to be around 50 to 100$.

Could you please state the make and model of the laptop? AN SKU to your wife's laptop would help us two fold.

Lenovo thinkbook 14 G2 ITL.

Why is this brand/model dependent? What if I swap the laptop later to a different one ?

Any Thunderbolt dock should be OK. The Lenovo docks are a bit expensive but if you buy a used one would be good and I have found matching brands is best for docking stations. For example the Lenovo systems I work on do not boot with certain models of Dell docking stations connected.
