My laptop has usb-c port but has no markings of any kind so I already ruled out thunderbolt...now my question is:

Does it still have 10gbps or is it like usb 3.0 which maxes at 600mbps?

I plan on buying usb dock in which i want to connect multiple hdds for cameras to store footage. I have 5 1tb hdds which i plan to connect to that hub and i dont want them to be throttled by each other.
Also I'm using 3 hdd enclosures with external power with each of them storing 2 hard drives.

Will it be throttled if i choose usb c hub over usb 3.0 hub?

Solution
Ok i found something in its manual. Port is Usb 3.1 Gen 1 Type c and seems to be at 5gbps if im not wrong... its just usb 3.1 with female type c.

Assuming that the hdd write speed is around 100-150 mbps do you think usb 3 hub with 600 mbps will be enough for them to be running full speed? I dont really know if thats how the speed share work

Most platter based sata 3 drives max out around 200mbps so you're hardly going to throttle unless your reading and writing to 3 or more drives simultaneously.

What speed sharing? USB3 is double-simplex, you get a dedicated 5Gbps RX and a dedicated 5Gbps TX. USB and SATA/UASP have overheads, so the practical maximum speed will be around 500MB/s. The fastest consumer HDDs max out at 200-250MB/s, which is only half of what USB3 can manage, so getting full speed shouldn't be a major issue unless you are simultaneously using multiple HDDs connected to the same USB root port.
