USB-c hub to a thunderbolt 4

Hello,

I have an asus TP470- flip laptop, it comes with a thunderbolt-4 port which I wanted to know if it could double as a USB-c port? I'm looking to buy a usb hub (4xUSB 3.1) and a lot of them plug into USB-c so wanted to know if this would work.

Thunderbolt is USB-C with extra features, so yes, it should work fine.
